Job Description

QUALIFICATION:

Education:
Bachelor´s or Master´s degree programs at Universities / Universities of Applied Sciences, e.g. in the field of “Economics”, but also a Doctoral Program can be completed

Additional training options - advantageous:
Agricultural Management / Agricultural Science

Economics – key curriculum subjects:
Business Mathematics / Microeconomics / Macroeconomics / Accounting / Business Administration / Statistics / Finance / Economic Policy / Econometrics

Completed degree in Agricultural Economics / Economics / Business Administration or a comparable field – Master´s or PhD degree

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Conducting economic analyses, benchmarking, and simulations for agricultural businesses
* Preparing investment and capital requirements plans, cost and revenue calculations
* Market and price analyses, and providing advice on funding opportunities (e.g., agricultural subsidies, EU aid programs)
* Advising on business strategies, investments, succession planning, and risk management
* Support with financing, grant applications, and subsidy management
* Preparing reports, studies, presentations, and recommendations for action
* Collaboration with farmers, associations, banks, government agencies, and research institutions
* Participation in projects on sustainability, agricultural economics, digitalization, and efficiency improvement
* Training of employees and clients, if necessary

skills_and_requirements
A - Sound knowledge of agricultural & market sciences and economic analyses B - Sound knowledge of cost accounting, financing, and funding opportunities C - Experience in consulting, market analysis, budgeting, and project management D - IT and data skills (e.g., Excel, data analysis tools, ideally GIS) E - Analytical and structured approach to work, problem-solving skills, and initiative F - Strong communication skills, customer focus, and teamwork ability G - Class B driver´s license – Willingness to travel to clients and regional meetings H - Fluent in German (written and spoken) & good English skills
