Education: 3.5 years of apprenticeship
Completed vocational training as Automotive
Body Technician / Vehicle Mechanic / Bodywork Specialist / Industrial Mechanic –
Bodywork or comparable qualification
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Professional repair, restoration, and
rebuilding of vehicle bodies after accidents or wear and tear
* Damage assessment, disassembly, and checking fit and alignment
(point-to-point)
* Use of body and frame technology, welding and soldering (cold and hot joints)
* Application of straightening and measuring methods (straightening bench,
laser measurement, rotary tables)
* Planning of repair processes, material ordering, and documentation of work
* Quality control, functional and visual inspection, and final assembly
* Customer communication regarding the scope of repairs, costs, and scheduling
* Compliance with safety, environmental, and occupational health and safety
regulations
