Education: Courses on CAD software application are included in diverse technical, medical and partially artistic degree programs - some CAD programs are only available for certain operating systems and therefore familiarity with different operating systems is necessary
Diverse Adult Education Institutes offer various CAD courses for different industries
Completed degree in Mechanical Engineering / Vehicle Technology / Product Development or Technical Training with relevant professional experience
ACTIVITIES:
* Creation, adapting and review of technical design drawings and 3-D models (e. g. with NX, SolidWorks, PTC Creo, CATIA)
* Derivation of bills of materials, manufacturing and assembly documents
* Implementation, of design changes in close coordination with product, manufacturing and quality teams
* Conducting tolerance analyses, component and assembly designs, and component and manufacturing data management
* Support in design reviews, acceptances, and change management
* Collaborating with Development, Manufacturing, Purchasing and Service
* Creating technical specifications, documentation compliant with norms and standards
