Job Description

QUALIFICATION: 
4 years apprenticeship = extension of 3 years apprenticeship for "Carpenter" with focus on specific areas to train well-educated skilled workers who can also be deployed as leaders with a high degree of autonomy and responsibility in technical, organizational and planning domains 

This focus already partially leans toward engineering activities:
Learning about computer-aided creation of working drawings and plans ("CAD" - Computer Aided Design) / Creating designs & perspectives / Projecting spatial solutions / Computer-aided work preparation / Creating cutting plans & complex detail solutions on the computer as well as planning machine utilization / Special emphasis on imparting knowledge of communication, presentation and sales techniques 

Completed apprenticeship in Carpentry or comparable qualification

ACTIVITIES:
* Technical planning of wood and furniture projects, from the initial sketch to the final production documentation
* Creation of work and material lists, parts lists, and CNC programs
* Coordination with design, engineering, manufacturing, and assembly
* Detailed CAD/3D designs (using Cabinet Vision) 
* Feasibility studies, cost and schedule calculations
* Optimization of production processes and material usage
* Creation of assembly and installation plans, assembly details, and quality control checks
* Support for manufacturing with technical issues during implementation
