Job Description

QUALIFICATION:


Education:
3 years at technical schools or 5 years at higher technical institutions in the field of "Civil Engineering"


Civil Engineering - key curriculum topics:

Construction Processes / Site Supervision / Project Management / Construction Law / Accounting / Bookkeeping


Further knowledge:
CAD (Computer-aided Design) / BIM (Building Information Modeling)

Practical experience:
School-owned workshops as well as through multi-week mandatory internships in companies


Educational option:
Construction Management - Training & continuing education opportunities at Construction Academies


Completed degree in Civil Engineering / Architecture or comparable vocational training as Foreman / Site Supervisor / Construction Manager with relevant experience



YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES: 
* Responsible management of construction projects from building permit approval to final acceptance
* Coordination of subcontractors, suppliers, and internal specialist departments
* Quality assurance, scheduling, cost control, and construction process planning
* Ensuring occupational safety and compliance with environmental regulations
* Preparation, negotiation, and awarding of change orders; invoice preparation
* Monitoring of document and defect management
* Communication with clients, architects, structural engineers, and authorities; regular construction meetings

A - Several years of relevant professional experience in construction management B - Ideally, profound knowledge in renovation, new construction, or site management C - Sound knowledge of construction law, standards, tendering regulations & construction processes D - Proficient in MS Office – ideally, experience with CAD/BIM and tendering systems E - Analytical thinking, structured work style, solution-oriented communication F - Leadership skills, teamwork ability, and initiative G - Willingness for project-specific additional work H - Class B driver's license – Willingness for regional travelling I - Good German & English language skills
