Job Description

QUALIFICATION:

Education:
Degree programs at Universities / Universities of Applied Sciences in the fields of “Construction Technology” / “Civil Engineering” / “Construction Management” with various specializations

Combined degree programs, e. g. Civil Engineering / Construction Management / Geotechnical Engineering / Raw Material Extraction / Tunneling

 


Completed technical studies in Civil Engineering / Architecture or comparable training as Construction Technician / Building Engineer with a focus on building physics

 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Recording, evaluation and documentation of building physics conditions (thermal/moisture/sound insulation, fire protection, room acoustics)
* Creation and review of building physics plans, calculations, measurement and testing concepts, and reports
* Collaboration with architects, structural engineers, site managers, experts, and clients
* Support in tendering, awarding contracts, and handling change orders
* Participation in quality assurance, defect management, and acceptance procedures
* Contribution to safety and environmental regulations on the construction site
* Use of – if necessary - further developing building physics software (e.g., indoor air modeling, heat/moisture calculations, sound insulation)

skills_and_requirements
A - Professional experience in the field of building physics/building physics consulting B - Sound knowledge of construction processes and standards C - Sound knowledge of regulations (e.g. DIN, EN, Construction Operations Ordinance) D - Sound knowledge of tendering regulations E - Proficient use of CAD/BIM, MS Office F - Ideally, experience with tendering/project management systems G - Analytical thinking, structured work approach, problem-solving skills H - Strong communication and teamwork skills, initiative I - Willingness for project-related overtime – if applicable J - Class B driver´s license K - Good German skills; English skills are an advantage
