Job Description

QUALIFICATION: 
3 years apprenticeship - in combination with an additional special module or main module = 4 years duration

Main modules (optional):
Gas & Sanitary Technology / Heating Technology
Special modules (optional):
Eco-Energy Technology / Control & Regulation Technology / Building Services Planning

Completed training in HVAC (Heating-Ventilation-Air Conditioning) / Mechatronics / Electronics or a comparable qualification; advanced training in Ventilation Technology is an advantage

ACTIVITIES:
* Planning, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of ventilation systems (HVAC) in buildings
* Fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, and regular maintenance according to maintenance plans
* Expansion, modernization, and optimization of ventilation systems (cooling, heating, and emergency ventilation)
* Collaboration with site managers, electricians, HVAC technicians, and facility management
* Preparation of documentation, test reports, and maintenance reports
* Compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards (e.g., DGUV, REACH, ISO/UKAS-relevant specifications)
* Support in the planning of energy-saving measures and the implementation of modernization projects

skills_and_requirements
A - Min. 5 years of practical experience in planning/installation/maintenance of ventilation systems B - In-depth knowledge of HVAC technology, measurement & control technology C - In-depth knowledge of control engineering (indoor air qualification) D - In-depth knowledge of control engineering (CO2 and humidity-controlled regulation) E - Basic knowledge of norms and standards (e.g., DIN, VDI, DGUV) F - Proficiency with common software (MS Office, maintenance databases) required G - Teamwork skills, analytical thinking, and independent working style H - Willingness to work regularly on-site; willingness to be on-call depending on scheduling I - Good written and spoken German skills; English and further language skills advantageous
