Education:
3 years at technical schools or 5 years at higher technical institutions in the fields of “Mechanical Engineering”, “Electronics”, “Mechatronics”, or “Electrical Engineering”
Electrical Engineering / Electronics – Key curriculum topics:
Measurement & Control Technology / Digital Systems / Communication Systems / Software Engineering / Drive Technology / Mechatronics / Automation Technology / Computer-aided Project Development
Mechanical Engineering – Key curriculum topics:
Design & Project Management / Mechanics & Machine Elements / Manufacturing & Production Technology / Automation Technology
Further knowledge:
Robotics / Smart Engineering / CAD (Computer-Aided Design) / CNC (Computerized Numerical Control) Technology / Welding Technology / Software Development
Practical experience:
School-owned workshops and laboratories as well as through multi-week mandatory internships in companies
Completed vocational training as Maintenance Technician / Industrial Mechanic / Electronics Technician / Mechatronics Technician / Industrial Electrician, or comparable qualification
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Planning, execution, and documentation of preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery, equipment, and building technology
* Troubleshooting, fault analysis, and repair of mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical/systemic components
* Repair and troubleshooting while adhering to safety and environmental regulations
* Participation in the optimization of maintenance plans, maintenance of technical specifications and service databases
* Preparation of work reports, spare parts requirements, and execution of test runs after repairs
* Collaboration with operations teams, external companies, and suppliers
* Planning of maintenance projects
* On-call availability as needed
* Support with installations, upgrades, and modernizations
