Job Description

QUALIFICATION:
Education: Bachelor´s or Master´s programs at Universities or Universities of Applied Sciences, e. g. in the fields of “Computer Science”, “Business Informatics” or “Media Technology”, but also a Doctoral program can be completed 
Master´s program at University of Vienna – Media Informatics - key curriculum topics:
Advanced Software Engineering / Computer Graphics / Multimedia Technology / Cloud Computing / Data Analysis / Digital Media Production Techniques / Game Technologies 

Completed degree (Bachelor's/Master's) in Computer Science / Media Informatics / Data Science / Computational Media, or comparable qualification

ACTIVITIES:
* Development and implementation of data-driven media solutions (e.g., adaptive content and personalization systems, recommendation engines, media analytics)
* Design and implementation of multimedia workflows (video, audio, image processing) and the underlying algorithms
* Applying computer vision, machine learning, and natural language processing to media-specific use cases
* Implementation of data modelling, integration, and management in big data environments
* Development of prototypes, proofs of concept, and scalable software components
* Collaboration with product, design, and sales teams to implement visual and interactive media products
* Conducting evaluations, tests, and quality assurance, documentation, and knowledge transfer
* Contribution to research and innovation activities, including publications or patent applications

skills_and_requirements
A - Solid knowledge of min. 1 relevant programming language (e. g. Python, C++, Java) B - Solid knowledge of min. 1 programming languages ML/DL frameworks (e. g. PyTorch, TensorFlow) C - Experience with multimedia processing, computer vision, audio/video analysis, or NLP D - Knowledge of databases, big data technologies (e. g. Hadoop, Spark) and API design & integration E - Familiarity with software development processes, version control (Git), & agile methodologies F - Analytical thinking, structured approach, innovative spirit & teamwork skills G - Very good spoken and written German & English skills
