MEDIA SPECIALIST – GRAPHICS & PRINT

QUALIFICATION:

Education:
Apprenticeship “Media Specialist – Graphics & Print” is part of the vocational training program “Media Specialist” with totally 4 main specializations -> 3 years duration

Further possible specializations:
Video & Audio Design / Web Design / Digital Marketing

Combining specializations is not possible, but individual components of the specialization not covered can be added

Completed vocational training or university degree in Graphic Design / Communication Design / Media Production or comparable qualification – alternatively, several years of relevant professional experience

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Conceptualization and implementation of print and graphic design projects (brochures, flyers, posters, magazines, packaging, merchandising)
* Design of layouts, typography, colors, and imagery; creation of print-ready files
* Coordination of design specifications with clients, agencies, and printers
* Implementation of corporate design guidelines, creation of style guides and templates
* Prepress: color management (CMYK/RGB), proofing, preparation of data for various printing processes (offset, digital printing, large format)
* Technical review of files, quality assurance, file management, and archiving
* Procurement of printing materials, price negotiations, and support of print projects
* Contribution to the development of concepts, editorial plans, and creative ideas
