MEDIA SPECIALIST – WEB DESIGN

QUALIFICATION: 

Education:
Apprenticeship “Media Specialist – Web Design” is part of the vocational training program “Media Specialist” with totally 4 main specializations -> 3 years duration

Further possible specializations:
Video & Audio Design / Graphics & Print / Digital Marketing

Combining specializations is not possible, but individual components of the specialization not covered can be added

Completed vocational training or university degree in Web Design / Media Design / Visualization or comparable qualification - alternatively, several years of relevant professional experience

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Conceptualization, design, and implementation of responsive web designs (corporate websites, landing pages, web apps)
* Creation of UX/UI concepts, layouts, prototypes, and mood boards; Coordination with clients
* Frontend development: Implementation of HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript, possibly frameworks (e.g., React, Vue) and CMS integration (WordPress, Drupal, Contentful, etc.)
* Design of graphics, typography, images, and video content for web use
* Implementation of accessible, performance-optimized websites (loading times, SEO basics, accessibility)
* Support with content and information architecture, interaction design, and conversion optimization
* Quality assurance, testing (cross-browser/device), and bug fixing
* Collaboration with marketing, backend development, SEO specialists, and external agencies
* Documentation and maintenance of style guides and design data
