QUALIFICATION:
Education:
3 years at technical colleges in
“Information Technology” or 5 years at higher technical institutions in
“Computer Science” or “Media Technology & Media Management”
Computer Science – key curriculum topics:
Network Technology / Systems
Engineering / Podcasts & Webcasts / Audio & Video Production / Project
Management / Business Administration / Accounting
Additional qualification:
SAP or Cisco (school-dependent)
Practical experience:
School-owned workshops as well as
through multi-week mandatory internships in companies
Completed vocational training in Media Technology / Event
Technology / IT/Network Technology or comparable qualification - alternatively,
several years of relevant professional experience
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Planning, setup, and operation of
media and event technology (lighting, sound, video, video conferencing systems)
* Setup, commissioning, and maintenance of presentation technology, media technology
stations, rack systems, and network infrastructure
* Performing installations, tests, troubleshooting, and repairs on-site at
customer locations
* Proactive maintenance, fault resolution, and documentation
* Support in planning multimedia concepts, layouts, and technical processes
* Collaboration with sales, event planning, production, and external service
providers
* Ensuring compliance with safety and compliance standards (DGUV, fire
protection, cable management)
* User training and creation of technical manuals
