Job Description

QUALIFICATION:

Educational options:

1 – Successful completion of 2 years full-time training (total of 3,200 hours) at schools for Nursing & Healthcare with final examination & diploma in nursing assistance

Eligibility: Minimum age of 17 years
                Successful completion of 10th grade
                Authorization to practice as a nursing

2 – Nursing assistant qualification completed -> duration shortened by 1 year / 1,600 hours

3 – 5 years at higher-level vocational school for Social Care & Nursing or shortened format of 3 years after attending a vocational school for social professions with preparatory nursing training

4 – Nursing / Care Specialist Assistant -> Apprenticeship

Completed training as a Nursing Assistant (or comparable qualification) or a similar qualification in the healthcare sector


YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES: 
* Supporting nursing staff with basic and treatment care according to plan
* Assisting with doctors' orders and administering medication in accordance with legal regulations
* Supporting residents with daily living activities, mobilization, hygiene, and nutrition
* Documentation of nursing measures in the individual care plan
* Monitoring and reporting changes in patient´s condition
* Accompanying residents to activities, therapies, and social events
* Supporting the implementation of quality and hygiene guidelines

skills_and_requirements
A - Experience in outpatient or inpatient care B - Basic knowledge of documentation (e.g., care plan, relevant software) is desirable C - Willingness to work shifts / weekends / on-call D - Empathy, teamwork, reliability, and good communication skills E - Good knowledge of German as minimum requirement; additional languages advantageous
