QUALIFICATION:
Education: 3 years at vocational technical schools in “Chemistry” or 5 years at higher technical institutions in the field of “Environmental Technology” / “Recycling Technology” or “Chemistry”
Key curriculum topics:
Chemistry / Analytics & Microbiology / Process & Energy Technology / Environmental Technology / Environmental Analysis / Quality Management
Further advantageous qualifications:
“Mechanical Engineering & Technology” due to the gaining importance of waste management machines and systems
Completed training or studies in Environmental Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Process Engineering / Chemistry or a related field - alternatively, comparable practical experience in the Recycling/Recovery sector
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Operation, maintenance and optimization of recycling plants (sorting, shredding, sorting processes, processing, and recovery)
* Monitoring of process parameters, quality assurance, and documentation of recycling processes
* Conducting material and product analyses to optimize the recycling rate
* Control of conveyor technology, sensors, and automated communication systems
* Development and implementation of improvement measures to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and protect the environment
* Participation in the introduction of new recycling and recovery processes and legal requirements (WEEE, Packaging Act, Circular Economy)
* Collaboration with Production, Logistics, Quality Assurance and Purchasing
* Preparation of operating instructions, work instructions, and maintenance plans
