Job Description

QUALIFICATION:
Education: 3 years at technical schools or 5 years at higher technical institutions in the fields of “Electrical Engineering” or “Electronics”
Further advantageous qualifications:
Network Technology / Telecommunications due to responsibility for the installation of computer-based devices 
Solid manual and technical skills for the installation of safety systems 

Completed technical training in Electrical Engineering / Security Technology / Communications Engineering or related fields – alternatively a relevant field of study or comparable qualification

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES: 
* Planning, installation, operation and maintenance of security systems (fire alarm systems, intrusion detection systems, video surveillance, access control)
* Fault diagnosis, repair and maintenance of security devices and networks
* Conducting tests, acceptance inspections, commissioning, and functional verification in accordance with standards (DIN VDE, VdS, EN, ISO)
* Preparation of maintenance plans, protocols, and documentation
* Participation in the design of security solutions, including feature testing, risk assessment, and FMEA
* Training of users and security officers, compliant with data protection and security guidelines
* Collaboration with building services, electrical and IT departments, and external service partners
* Support in emergency and fire protection measures, as well as audits and certifications

skills_and_requirements
A - In-depth knowledge of security systems (fire alarm & intrusion detection systems) B - In-depth knowledge of security systems (video surveillance, access control) C - In-depth knowledge of network technology (IP, LAN/WAN) D - Experience in commissioning, troubleshooting, calibration, and maintenance of security systems E - Knowledge of relevant standards and standard testing (e.g., VDE, VdS, DIN, ISO 9001) F - Basic knowledge of PC administration, and possibly IT security is an advantage G - Reliable, structured working method, problem-solving skills & teamwork ability H - Willingness to work on-call, shifts or standby duties depending on the operating model I - Fluent German & good English skills
