Job Description

QUALIFICATION:

 

Education: 5 years at educational institutions for social work or colleges for social work

 

Key curriculum topics:
Inclusive Education / Didactics / Art Education / Supervisory Support

 

Practical experience:
Multi-week mandatory internship

Admission requirement:
Completion of an aptitude test

Social Pedagogue -> University / University of Applied Sciences / University of Teacher Education

 


Completed University or University of Applied Sciences degree in Social Pedagogy / Social Work / Early Childhood Education / Educational Sciences, or comparable qualification

 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Advice, support and assistance of children, adolescents, and families with emotional and social issues
* Case and resource planning, development of support plans, and documentation
* Needs-based individual and group services (e.g., conflict resolution, stress management, resilience building, addiction prevention)
* Collaboration with schools, daycare centers, youth services, and support and health services
* Crisis intervention and needs assessment, including networking with relevant support services
* Design and support of prevention and educational projects (e.g., media literacy, participation, family education)
* Participation in team meetings, supervision, and team development
* Preparation of reports, documentation, and evaluation measures
* Promotion of inclusive and participatory approaches and cross-departmental coordination

skills_and_requirements
A - Professional experience in youth services, schools, social work, or a similar institution B - Sound knowledge of systemic, solution-focused, or evidence-based counseling C - Empathy, patience, conflict resolution skills, teamwork, and strong communication skills D - Flexibility, organizational skills, and resilience E - Proficient in MS Office; ideally, experience with documentation and support plan tools F - Willingness for collaboration across disciplines G - Willingness to further develop educational & counseling work H - Willingness to attend appointments beyond core working hours – if necessary / exceptionally I - Good German skills; additional language skills are an advantage
