QUALIFICATION:
Successfully completed studies in Human Medicine -> 9-month basic training (rotation) -> specialization basic training as well as specialization focus training in the chosen specialization (duration between 63 and 72 months without studies - depending on the specialization) -> graduation with specialist examination at the Austria Medical Chamber
Licensed Physician - Specialist Certification in “Clinical Immunology & Specific Prophylaxis & Tropical Medicine” or equivalent qualification
ACTIVITIES:
* Diagnosis and treatment of immunological diseases, including primary immunity disorders
* Planning and implementation of specific prophylactic measures (vaccination recommendations, prophylaxis for immunosuppression)
* Tropical medicine consultation, prevention and treatment strategies for travel medicine and overseas assignments
* Participation in clinical trials and translational research in immunology, tropical medicine, and vaccine development
* Interdisciplinary collaboration with INF, rheumatology, infectious diseases, and oncology departments
* Certification, quality management, and further development of treatment guidelines
