Job Description

QUALIFICATION:
Successfully completed studies in Human Medicine -> 9-month basic training (rotation) -> specialization basic training as well as specialization focus training in the chosen specialization (duration between 63 and 72 months without studies - depending on the specialization) -> graduation with specialist examination at the Austria Medical Chamber  

Licensed Physician - Specialist Certification in “Mouth, Maxillofacial & Facial Surgery” 

ACTIVITIES:
* Diagnosis, treatment, and surgical management of diseases and malformations of the mouth, jaw, and face
* Performance of advance and revision surgeries, implant medicine, temporomandibular joint treatments, augmentations, and reconstructions
* Emergency care and treatment of elective procedures
* Interdisciplinary collaboration with orthodontists, radiologists, anaesthesiologists, and other specialist departments
* Patient care before, during, and after surgery
* Information and documentation

A - Practical professional experience (10+ years) in the specialist field B - Sound surgical skills and enjoyment of complex procedures C - High degree of empathy, strong communication & teamwork skills, patient-centred approach D - Willingness to undertake continuous professional development E - Willingness to collaborate in an interdisciplinary manner F - Willingness to work shifts & weekend services, on call / emergency care depending on the roster G - Very good written & spoken German skills; English & further language skills advantageous
