Job Description

QUALIFICATION:
Successfully completed studies in Human Medicine -> 9-month basic training (rotation) -> specialization basic training as well as specialization focus training in the chosen specialization (duration between 63 and 72 months without studies - depending on the specialization) -> graduation with specialist examination at the Austria Medical Chamber  

Licensed Physician - Specialist Certification in “Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation” or equivalent qualification

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES: 
* Diagnosis and conservative treatment of musculoskeletal disorders as well as underlying neurological and internal diseases
* Implementation and supervision of physical medicine therapies (e.g., electrotherapy, shock wave therapy, magnetic field therapy, thermotherapy, and hydrotherapy)
* Implementation and evaluation of rehabilitative measures (medical training therapy, manual therapies, pain therapy)
* Creation and implementation of individual treatment plans
* Collaboration in clinical projects, quality assurance, and further development of treatment pathways
* Interdisciplinary collaboration with radiology, orthopaedics, neurology, pain medicine, and physical/occupational therapy
* Care of patients and their families

skills_and_requirements
A - Practical professional experience (10+ years) in the specialist field B - Additional qualifications, e. g. Manual Medicine, Pain Medicine, Quality Assurance desirable C - In-depth knowledge of diagnostics and evidence-based therapies in physical medicine D - Strong patient focus, empathy & resilience, teamwork and strong communication skills E - Commitment to continuing education and training F - Very good German & English – written and spoken
