QUALIFICATION:
Education: 3 years at technical colleges in “Information Technology” or 5 years as higher technical colleges in “Computer Science”
Key curriculum topics – Computer Science:
Network Systems & Cyber Security / Software Engineering / Cloud Computing / Systems Planning / Project Management / Business Administration / Accounting
Additional qualification: SAP or Cisco (school-dependent)
Practical experience: School-owned workshops as well as through multi-week mandatory internships in companies
Completed training as Systems & Information Technician / IT Systems Electronics Technician or comparable qualification
ACTIVITIES:
* Support in IT infrastructure technically and operationally (servers, networks, storage, backup)
* Installation, configuration and maintenance of hardware and software
* Monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing performance
* Supporting 2nd/3rd level user
* Executing system & security management (security updates, access rights, incident response)
* Creation and maintenance of technical documentation
* Collaboration with specialist departments on IT projects and the implementation of new systems
