QUALIFICATION:

Education:

3 years at vocational schools or 5 years at higher technical colleges in the fields of “Electrical Engineering” / “Electronics” or “Mechatronics”

Electrical Engineering – key curriculum subjects:
Energy Systems / Automation Technology / Drive Technology / Industrial Electronics / Applied Computer Science / Production Technology / Computer-aided Project Development

Further knowledge:
Robotics / CAD (Computer-aided Design) / PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) software

Electronics Training – key curriculum subjects:
Hardware Development / Measurement & Control Systems / Digital Systems & Computer Technology / Network Technology / Communications Electronics / Software Engineering / Electronic Design / Prototype Construction

Further knowledge:
SMD Technology / Digital Technology / Manufacturing Technology / PCB Design

Practical experience:
School-owned workshops and laboratories as well as through multi-week mandatory internships in companies

Completed technical training in Electronics / Mechatronics / Automation Technology or comparable qualification

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Planning, execution, and documentation of tests on prototypes and series products (electrical, mechanical, and mechatronic tests)
* Operation and calibration of test benches, laboratory equipment, and measuring instruments
* Fault analysis, troubleshooting, and development of improvement measures
* Creation of test reports, evaluations, and certificate documentation
* Collaboration with development, quality assurance, and production
* Participation in the development of test concepts, test specifications, and validation plans
* Maintenance of the test field inventory, performance of maintenance and modifications to test systems
* Compliance with safety and quality guidelines (e.g., ISO/GLP/QM)

skills_and_requirements
A - Solid experience in testing, ideally in electronics/mechatronics or mechanical engineering B - Basic knowledge of software (e.g., LabVIEW, MATLAB/Simulink, Python) is an advantage C - Proficient use of measuring instruments (multimeter, oscilloscope, stress testers, data loggers) D - Analytical thinking, structured work approach, and problem-solving skills E - Team spirit, good communication skills, and independent working style F - Willingness to perform occasional ramp-up/maintenance work outside of regular working hours G - Fluent German and good English skills
