TOURISM MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT

QUALIFICATION:

Education:
3 years at vocational schools or 5 years at higher business/commercial schools, especially tourism schools

Key curriculum subjects:
General Education / Foreign Languages / Travel Management / Tourism Marketing / Customer Service

Practical experience:
Multi-week mandatory internships in companies

Educational option:
1 – Hotel & Catering Industry -> Apprenticeship

Completed vocational training as Tourism Management Assistant / Tourism Specialist or commercial training with relevant tourism experience or comparable qualification

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Advising and selling travel services (package tours, individual trips, hotel and car rental bookings, group tours)
* Preparing offers, calculations, and checking passport/visa requirements
* Supporting customers from booking to trip completion, including change management
* Maintaining customer and service data in the CRM system, creating travel documents, documentation, and invoices
* Collaborating with airlines, hotels, tour operators, partner agencies, and service providers
* Market and competitor monitoring, trend analysis, upselling additional services
* Participating in marketing activities, social media support, and event organization
* Handling complaints and conducting customer satisfaction analyses
* Participating in training and professional development courses as well as regular training on destinations and products
