Job Description

QUALIFICATION:

Education:
Bachelor´s or Master´s degree programs at Universities / Universities of Applied Sciences in the fields of “Tourism Management” or “Business Administration – Tourism”, but also a Doctoral Program can be completed


Bachelor´s program – Tourism Management - key curriculum subjects:
Marketing / Communication / Sustainability / Business Administration / Human Resource Management / Project Management / Digitalization / Destination Management

Master´s program:
Competences and expertise in the respective field are further deepened, specialized and expanded

Educational option:
1 – Tourism Manager -> Secondary/Higher Schools


Completed university degree or comparable qualification in Tourism / Business Administration / Marketing or related fields

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Development and implementation of marketing and product strategies for destinations and experiences
* Coordination of marketing campaigns (online, social media, PR) and management of budgets and KPIs
* Participation in the design of event, cooperation, and event formats (events, trade fairs, collaborations)
* Market and competitive analysis, monitoring of industry trends, and derivation of measures
* Partner management (local businesses, hotels, attractions) and stakeholder management
* Project and portfolio management, including scheduling, resource management, and controlling
* Quality management and ensuring high service and experience standards
* Reporting to management and committees

skills_and_requirements
A - Several years of professional experience in tourism & destination management B - Project management experience, ideally with agile methods C - Proficient in MS Office; ideally, experience with CRM/CMS systems and digital marketing tools D - Strategic thinking, analytical skills and results orientation E - Independent work style, willingness to travel & teamwork skills F - Excellent communication & negotiation skills, networking competence G - Fluent German & English skills; further language knowledge is a plus
