Job Description

QUALIFICATION:

Education: 3 years at vocational schools or 5 years at higher technical institutions in the field of “Electrical Engineering – Focus Renewable Energies” or “Mechanical Engineering”

Electrical Engineering – Key curriculum topics:
Business Administration / Energy Systems / Production Engineering / Drive Technology / Mechatronics / Automation Technology / Industrial Electronics / Applied Computer Science

Further knowledge:
Renewable Energies / Robotics / Computer-Aided Design (CAD) / Programmable Logic Controller (PLC)

Practical experience:
School-owned workshops and laboratories as well as through multi-week mandatory internships in companies 

Completed vocational training in Industrial Engineering / Mechatronics / Electronics / Mechatronics Technician – Refrigeration / Air Conditioning Systems, or comparable qualification or relevant professional experience in the wind energy sector

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES: 
* Installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of wind turbines on-site
* Troubleshooting, repair, and optimization of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
* Performing functional tests, measurements (voltage, current, oil level, pressure, temperature), and acceptance protocols
* Setting up, adjusting, and calibrating components according to specifications
* Documentation of work, test results, and service reports
* Collaboration with assembly, product support, and quality assurance teams
* Adherence to safety, environmental, and occupational health and safety regulations
* Willingness to work at wind farms, including potential regional travel

skills_and_requirements
A - Sound knowledge of electrical/electronic systems, mechanics, hydraulics & control engineering B - PLC / Automation experience is an advantage C - Experience with wind turbines or similar turbine/plant systems D - Basic knowledge of Electrical Engineering and Safety Technology E - Analytical thinking, structured work style, problem-solving orientation F - Teamwork skills, customer focus, and service orientation G - Willingness to travel and work on-site, possibly including night/shift work H - Class B driver´s license I - Portuguese language skills advantageous; intermediate English knowledge required
