Job Description

QUALIFICATION:
Education: 3 years at technical schools or 5 years at higher technical institutions, particularly in the field of “Wood Construction & Technology”
Further knowledge: CNC (Computerized Numerical Control) Technology / CAD (Computer-Aided Design Program
Additional qualification: Forklift license (school-dependent)
Practical experience: School-owned workshops as well as through multi-week mandatory internships in companies 
Educational option: 
1 – Carpentry Technician -> Apprenticeship with modules

Completed studies or training in Timber Construction / Wood Technology / Civil Engineering with focus on Timber Construction, or a comparable qualification

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES: 
* Planning, developing and testing timber components and structures
* Creation of technical drawings, parts lists, and production documents
* Coordination with Development, Production, and Purchasing regarding materials, manufacturing methods, and quality standards
* Selection of suitable wood materials, surface treatments, and fasteners
* Conducting material and component tests, documenting the results
* Support of production planning and work preparation
* Ensuring occupational safety, environmental, and product protection regulations

A - In-depth knowledge of wood processing & wood materials B - In-depth knowledge of structural design in timber construction & CNC technology C - Experience in reading technical drawings & creating parts lists D - Experience in working with CAD systems (e.g., AutoCAD, Rhino, Revit) E - Analytical thinking skills, structured working methods, quality awareness, and teamwork skills F - Willingness to travel and work on-site projects – depending on the assignment G - Willingness to work shifts or on-call – depending on the operating model H - Good knowledge of German & English
