QUALIFICATION:

The apprenticeship “Metal Technician – Toolmaking Technology” is part of the modular apprenticeship “Metal Technician” with totally 9 main modules and 4 specialization  modules

3.5 years apprenticeship - in combination with an additional main or specialization module = 4 years duration

Completed vocational training as Metal Technician / Industrial Mechanic / CNC Machinist, or comparable qualification

ACTIVITIES:
* Manufacturing, assembly, commissioning, and fine-tuning of main module components in the field of toolmaking technology, both on-site and in the workshop
* Development, procurement, and processing of tools, fixtures, and accessories for main modules
* Welding, soldering, and machining of components according to specifications
* Assembly and joining technology, adjustment of precision parts, and calibration of tools
* Performing tests and functional verifications in accordance with standards and technical specifications
* Documentation of work, test reports, and service procedures
* Collaboration with Quality Assurance, Development, and Customer Support
* Support in the validation of new components and systems
* Compliance with safety and hygiene measures, as well as occupational health and safety and environmental protection regulations
