QUALIFICATION:

The apprenticeship “Wood Technician – Window Construction Technology” is part of the modular apprenticeship “Wood Technician” with totally 4 main modules and 1 specialization module

Apprenticeship duration options & combinations:
1 - 3.0 years = Basic Module (2 years) + Main Module (1 year)
2 - 3.5 years = Main Module (optional - 3 years) + Specialization Module (0.5 years)
3 - 4.0 years = Main Module (optional - 3 years) + Main Module (optional - 1 year)

Prefabricated Component Production / Sawing Technology / Materials Production

Specializaiton module (optional):
Design, Construction & Project 

Completed vocational training in Wood Technology / Carpentry/Joinery / Glazing/Window Construction, or comparable qualification

ACTIVITIES:
* Professional processing, assembly, and installation supervision of wooden window and facade components
* On-site measurements, fit checks, adjustments, and final inspections
* Advising customers on the selection, function, operation, and maintenance of window components
* Planning installations, ordering materials, and scheduling
* Documentation of work, creating installation and maintenance reports
* Fault diagnosis, repairs, and maintenance, as well as modernizing existing systems if necessary
* Participation in quality assurance
* Compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards
* Maintaining contact with customers, tradespeople, and suppliers
